Ice road Koli-Vuonislahti

This short cut across the frozen Lake Pielinen, from Loma-Koli to Vuonislahti harbour (7 kms), is opened when the ice is thick enough, and it may be closed at times in the event of storms, ice cracking, etc. Maximum speed limit 50 kph, maximum weight 3 tons, minimum distance between vehicles 50 m, all overtaking and stopping prohibited for safety reasons.
