Hattusaari, lake Pielinen, and the Koli national park are our beloved home regions, as we live all year round in the main house by the playing fields where the reception is. The location of the Hattusaari island in the middle of lake Pielinen is unique to us, and offers genuine relaxation in the beautiful natural landscape. Jaakko’s parents Siiri and Toivo started the renting business in Hattusaari in the early 1980s, starting in the same house that we now live in. In 1993, we started our own company called Hattusaaren Rantamajat. We currently own 15 beach cabins that we rent all year round, and our days are filled by taking care of the cabins. Our goal has been and will be to build nice, high-quality settings for trouble-free cabin holidays.
