Day 1: 

• Dinner at Bistro Kolin Ryynänen (2 courses). This atmospheric restaurant serves unforgettable local flavors, complemented by beers and ciders from its own in-house brewery.
• Accommodation at Break Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä. As the name suggests, the hotel is located in the heart of Koli village, right at the doorstep of the national park.

Day 2: 

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Guided tour of Ukko-Koli (1 h). Discover the famous national landscapes of Koli with a knowledgeable guide.
• Visit to the Koli Nature Centre Ukko, where you can explore the history of the national landscape and learn the basics of hiking.
• Lunch cruise on the waters of Koli (1.5 h). Enjoy the scenic views of Lake Pielinen aboard the M/S Marival.

Day 2: 

• Laulukimppu hike on Ukko-Koli (1.5 h). Let your guide’s singing, accompanied by the sounds of nature, lead you through Koli’s scenic hills.
• Campfire lunch in the forest
• Guided visit to the Sculpture Park. In the Koli Sculpture Park, you’ll explore the unique works of a local ITE (self-taught) artist nestled in a lush garden setting.
• Free time in Koli

• Accommodation at Break Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä. Located in the heart of Koli village, this warm and welcoming hotel is a perfect base for national park visitors.

Day 2: 

• Guided visit to the Sculpture Park, where you can admire the works of a self-taught local artist in a unique garden setting covering nearly a hectare.
• Soup lunch at Bistro Ryynänen (salmon soup & salad). This cozy log-built bistro delights with delicious meals made from local ingredients. Be sure to try their house-brewed beers and ciders!
• Cruise to Vuonislahti (1 h) and visit to the Paateri studio and church. The home and studio of sculptor Eva Ryynänen form an impressive site where her artistic legacy is beautifully preserved in both architecture and sculpture. After the visit, you may continue your journey to your next destination or return home.
