Purnutar is located right at the base of Koli National Park in the popular Purnuniemi area. Koli village, the harbor, and restaurants are within walking distance. The sandy shore of Lake Pielinen is 200 meters away. During the summer, a rowing boat is available for guests' use. Cycling routes and ski trails start right next to the property, and opportunities for berry picking and fishing are within easy reach.

Purnutar is a semi-detached house with two identical, well-equipped cottage apartments. Purnutar A is designed to be accessible. Each apartment has an area of 78 m² plus a 30 m² loft. Each unit features two bedrooms, a loft, an open kitchen, a living room, a cozy soapstone fireplace, a sauna/WC, and spacious porches. The cottage is best suited for up to 6 people. It also offers free Wi-Fi.

For the smallest family members, Purnutar provides cribs, high chairs, and bathtubs.

The property offers activities for both young and old: a trampoline, badminton, and other outdoor games, as well as a cozy campfire area and hammock swings (a gas grill is also available in the storage). A hot tub trailer can also be rented for the park-like yard.
