Atmospheric accommodation in the heart of the Koli on Kelvänsaari

Tarina-Aho, located on Kelvänsaari Island in Lake Pielinen, is a unique B&B whose courtyard consists of three traditional log buildings. It can accommodate a total of about thirty people. In addition to traditional accommodation, affordable loft accommodations are also available.

The courtyard features clean outdoor toilets, a private well, and a grill cabin available for guests’ use. In Kuusela main building, there are shared refrigerators for guests. A garden breakfast is included in the price.

Tarina-Aho is located in front of Koli, about a 15-minute boat ride from Koli Harbor. You can reach Tarina-Aho by a scheduled boat, which takes a beautiful route across Lake Pielinen, offering views of the Koli hills from the water. The scheduled boat transfer is available for an additional fee. Alternatively, you can arrive at Tarina-Aho with your own boat or canoe.

Sauna is available by separate reservation. Bathing takes place in traditional lakeside saunas.
